How to upgrade Cisco 2960 firmware
Copy the .tar file you downloaded from cisco.com to a TFTP server then login to the switch and run “archive download-sw /overwrite /reload tftp://<your-tftp-ip>/<path-to-tar>/<tar-filename>”
